Job Description
Reporting to the Project Manager, this position will be responsible for (in coordination with the Project Manager) the management of technical documents related to the completion of the project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work in close collaboration with the project manager and site superintendent
- Participate in worksite meetings with professionals and subcontractors.
- Coordinate change orders between professionals and subcontractors for cost estimation and work execution
- Coordinate and follow up with subcontractors of all activities related to the progress of work on the construction site.
- Ensure quality control for finishing work.
- Prepare and follow up on technical questions in relation to plans and specifications.
- Assist the manager in the management of payment requests to the client and those of subcontractors.
- Participate in the management and review of shop drawings and samples.
- Participate in the monitoring of ''Conflict Detections'' when the project is carried out in in BIM.
- Help monitor and manage deficiencies at project completion.
- Ensure the assembly of final project documents in collaboration with the Administrative Assistant
- Ensure monitoring of services rendered by consultants (drawings, specifications, construction supervision, acceptance of work)
- Assist in the development of the schedule.
- Perform other duties as required.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Engineering (construction, building or civil) or technical studies diploma (construction, architecture or civil)
- 1 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in MS Office software, MS Project
- Knowledge of Procore (asset)
- LEED accreditation (an asset)

Salary: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
