Job Description
We are a dynamic business firm looking for a highly skilled and motivated Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be exceptionally well organized and provide task oriented leadership to keep projects running smoothly.
Candidates should have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis. You should be an excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks. You also need to be a team player and have a problem-solving aptitude.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily progress of projects.
- Provide detailed updates to management.
- Coordinate internal and client facing project meetings.
- Organize project logistics including internal team members, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate barriers to management as needed.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Ensure the project team has the supplies and resources to complete their assigned tasks on time and within budget.
- Create project schedules for prospective projects, in response to RFPs.
- Ensure the flawless execution of projects ensuring all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in business development, project management, sales, or marketing
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills both client facing and internal.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of a variety of technologies with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies would be an asset.
This role will be responsible for ensuring teams meet all scope requirements by completing jobs properly according to their contract or agreement with the client. In addition, the successful candidate must provide concrete guidance on what everyone needs to do and the most efficient way to complete each step. Effective communication is a crucial skill for this position. The candidate must use language that everyone on their team understands to clarify what needs to happen and how it should occur. The Project Coordinator will ensure projects meet their deadlines, but they are also accountable to management who know how essential it is for an organization's success.
