Job Description
The Assistant to the Project Manager plans and coordinates administrative efforts for their assigned construction projects. They are deeply engaged from the project's start to its finish. This Assistant will work under the guidance and mentorship of assigned Project Managers, adhering to project specifications. Infinity Group Construction seeks a candidate who understands how to effectively utilize workplace technology for scheduling, planning, Excel tracking, and follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in project administration duties.
- Create monthly reports on maintenance service or project progress.
- Analyze and track data in Excel collected during and after the project.
- Research information to aid project development.
- Communicate with vendors, employees, and clients.
- Maintain invoicing and work orders in the system.
- Review work orders and follow up with vendors for any questions.
- Review and ensure accuracy of project submittals.
- Plan and implement construction schedules alongside Project Managers.
- Represent IGC in project meetings with internal and external parties.
- Attend pre-construction meetings & progress meetings, completing necessary paperwork and scheduling.
- Maintain strong working relationships with Customers, Suppliers, and Sub-Contractors.
- Ensure a sound knowledge of IGC/FCM Company Policy and Health and Safety Policies.
- Complete tasks assigned by the Project Manager efficiently and timely.
Qualifications:
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in using Outlook.
- Effective written and oral communication skills with clients and project representatives.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional analytical, negotiating, and planning skills.
- Professional attitude with strong organizational and inquisitive skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
