Job Purpose:
The Junior Project Manager, Industrial Landfills is responsible for assisting with oversight of assigned capital projects, including scope, budget, and schedule. This position is responsible to support the Landfill Engineering and Construction team while providing operational technical support to the Midstream Operations Landfill Division.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Capital Project Management
- Participate in project scope, schedule, and budget development and management from project conception through execution to project completion;
- Support project teams inclusive of multiple contractors, engineers, and support staff;
- Work with various internal resource teams such as Supply Chain Management, Regulatory, and Finance among others to ensure successful project execution;
Operations Support
- Provide technical field support in an aligned and effective manner;
- Build strong relationships with the Operations Management team understanding support requirements and identifying key opportunities for skills development;
Design Engineering
- Participate in technical design reviews and analysis with external engineering resources, contractors, and Operations staff;
- Provide Engineering and Design support to Landfill operations ensuring the ongoing regulatory compliance of Landfills;
- Support engineering consultants and project personnel for Landfill projects.
Qualifications/Competencies:
The individual in this role will have:
- E.I.T. or C. E. T. in Civil Engineering with 1 to 5 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal clients and external service providers.
- Strong computer skills and ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook and Windows.
- Class 5 drivers license as this position will see 50% travel
- Position requires Industrial First Aid, and H2S Alive certifications.
