Job Duties:
- Review client specifications and requirements, striving to comply with all required standards fully.
- Prior to the start of the project, create a submission list to be used for the construction.
- Assists and is the liaison between the site superintendent, office administration and Project Manager with overall project performance, including scheduling, cost, safety, and quality.
- Manage project activities throughout the lifecycle including resourcing, scheduling, documentation, budget, and other factors.
- Provide administrative support to project managers.
- Track, document, and distribute instructions and changes to trades and other parties affected by the change.
- Track project progress and report to the management team via a formal communications plan.
- Ensure client safety obligations are carried out per the agreement’s terms and communicated to the Project Manager and Supervisors.
- Implement the Quality Assurance/Quality Control management system at the site
- Coordinate all site inspections with the site subcontractors.
- Ensure that all submissions and inspection reports are accurate/in compliance and that all attached documents are current status, as per the timelines in the contract.
- Coordinate any and complete all on and off-site testing and inspections as required by operations staff.
- Verify that the quality-related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes, specifications and standards.
- Communicate with the client representative(s).
- Plan project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using Microsoft Project software.
- Complete reports and checklists per company policies and/or contract requirements and advise supervisors of non-conformances and deviations.
- Provide as-builts to site teams and clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Highly proficient with various Microsoft Office applications
- May routinely require the employee to climb, bend, push, pull, lift, and /or carry objects.
- Willing and able to travel for assigned out-of-town projects
- Previous experience as a Project Coordinator is considered an asset
- Previous experience in Sewer and Water, Wastewater treatment, and pumping stations is considered an asset
- ACI Certification is considered an asset.
- Nuclear Gauge Certification is considered an asset
