Job Details: Shift: 6:00AM -2:30PM (flexible) Job Type: Full-Time and Full benefits (health, dental and vision) after probation Hours of work: 40hrs/week Rate: $20.47 per hour; includes a progressive wage increase Days of work: Monday to Friday (must be able to work all 5 days) Working Conditions: Plant environment Job Description: • Organize time effectively to meet daily production schedule • Fill all departmental releases in a timely manner • Service & provide the necessary raw materials/ingredients/dry goods • Service & provide packaging supplies to all production areas & removing all supplies from production areas for washing • Assist cleaners as required • Pick orders using scanning system & stage loads • Work on loops & receiving as required • Inventory control of dry goods, spices, 403 & 407 • Load/Unload trailers & containers as required • Operate stand-up counterbalance, walkie, reach truck and ride on tow motor & machines – MHE training/license required • Utilized as a back-up operator • Other duties as required/assigned. Required Skills: • Must be able to work flexible shift. • Must have a forklift license, stand-up counterbalance, walkie, and reach. • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
- Must be able to work with all types of meat products including pork. • Must be able to work in a fast paced and cold environment. (Cold: 0 to 4 Degrees) • Must be able to complete physical requirements of job, perform heavy lifting/pushing • Must be able to lift up to 25kgs. ***Please note: Must be able to pass a background check.
