Job Description
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Medical Receptionist / Call Centre Booking Agent to work at our Mississauga Location.
The ideal candidate must have previous experience in Medical or Diagnostic Imaging, excellent customer service skills, the ability to multitask, and adapt to changing work environments. A positive attitude and exceptional communication skills are a must.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Recent experience in administrative support, customer service, or Call Centre is required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and administration is required.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Diagnostic Imaging.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is necessary.
- Strong time management, organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential.
- Ability to take initiative and resolve issues within the scope of responsibility is required.
- Professionalism and excellent telephone manners are a must.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team and a customer-oriented approach are necessary.
What you’ll be doing in this role:
This role is responsible for managing and supervising all front desk operations, including:
- Reporting directly to the Central Booking Supervisor
- Answering multiple phone lines, scheduling appointments, checking in patients, and processing billings.
- Processing insurance forms and invoices, as well as handling cash
- Managing incoming faxed requisitions
- Confirming all patient appointments
- Responding to online patient requests
- Fostering a collaborative work environment
- Maintaining confidentiality in accordance with clinic policies
- May be required to fill in at another clinic if necessary.
- Other duties as assigned to support the department
