We are currently looking for a Part-Time Receptionist/Clinic Assistant with great enthusiasm and energy to join our team at the clinic. They will work alongside other front desk staff members in a fast-paced environment to aid in enhancing the patient flow and patient experience in the clinic. They must be able to work individually with low supervision and communicate effectively between patients and therapists to improve efficiency within the clinic.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting patients and visitors, making them feel welcomed and comfortable
- Providing assistance and information about any of the services provided at the clinic
- Answering phone calls, emails, and other inquiries
- Booking and scheduling patients, checking patients in and out, issuing invoices and receipts after visits
- Billing to third-party insurance companies through various portals
- Maintaining general cleanliness around the clinic, including washing/drying and folding laundry
- Monitoring and maintaining inventory supply
- Other related administrative tasks

- Exceptional patient management skills with a high degree of professionalism and integrity
- Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills, able to respond to challenges in a quick and effective fashion
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Strong computer literacy: Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word and MS Excel), e-mail interfaces, and Canva would be an asset
- Experience in health care settings is an asset
- Experience with Universal Scheduling is an asset
- Experience with using electronic health management records and billing insurance companies is an asset
- Fluent in English and Cantonese/Mandarin is an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: $16.50-$22.50 per hour
