Job Description
Looking for a Part-Time Medical Receptionist to work at our clinic in mid-town Toronto on Thursdays and Fridays and possibly weekends.
The ideal candidate must have previous experience in Medical or Diagnostic Imaging, excellent customer service skills, the ability to multitask, and adapt to changing work environment. A positive attitude and exceptional communication skills are a must.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Experience in administrative support, customer service, or Call Centre is required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and administration is required.
- Preference with be given to candidates with experience in Diagnostic Imaging.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
- Strong time management, organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential.
- Ability to take initiative and resolve issues within the scope of responsibility is required.
- Professionalism and excellent telephone manners are a must.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team and a customer-oriented approach are necessary.
- Preferences will be given to candidates with ability to speak Portuguese/Spanish.
This person is responsible for managing all front desk operations, including:
- Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, greeting and checking in patients, and processing billings
- Processing insurance forms and invoices, as well as handling cash
- Managing income faxed requisitions, and online booking requests
- Confirming all patient appointments
- Fostering a collaborative work environment
- Maintaining confidentiality in accordance with clinic policies
- Other duties as assigned to support the clinic
