Our physical therapy clinic is looking for a reliable, organized and friendly receptionist/clinic experience rep to join our team. The physical therapy clinic receptionist will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, responsible for greeting them, answering their queries and directing them to the concerned staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for patient scheduling, maintaining patient records, and processing patient referrals. The physical therapy clinic receptionis will also assist in a range of administrative tasks, including billing and insurance verification.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors upon arrival, handle inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate staff member
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-up appointments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of patient record data
- Manage patient medical records by entering patient demographics, insurance information, and referral information accurately and efficiently
- Obtain and process new patient referrals and diagnostic orders
- Verify insurance and perform billing tasks, including collecting co-payments and deductibles from patients
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area and work
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $15.50-$24.74 per hour
