Dental Receptionist (Burnaby, Port Moody, Surrey, Vancouver)

Job Description
- Greeting & checking-in patients upon their arrival
- Handling patient inquires in-person and over the phone and appointment booking
- Working with various insurance providers to check patient coverage and eligibility
- Managing patient payments and coordinating insurance payment (if applicable)
- Creating and organizing patient charts and any associated documents/correspondence with prescribed confidentiality controls
- Working collaboratively with Clinical and General Anesthetic departments to ensure patient needs are met
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance patient experience/customer service to build long term patient relationships
- Taking patient and customer feedback and actively addressing concerns
Qualifications
Required
- Clear and personable communications skills across verbal and written mediums.
- A professional demeanor with passion for dental health and oral hygiene
- Proficient with computers (Windows, Microsoft Office, Google Applications. etc.)
- Familiarity in customer service and payment processing best practices
- Ability to work well as a team player and independently
- Strong attention to detail while multitasking and under pressure
- Aptitude to quickly recognize, assess and resolve issues
- Flexibility with working schedule including Saturdays and multiple offices locations
- Some post-secondary education
Nice to Have Experience In:
- Tracker patient management software
- Previous dental office and/or medical office experience
- Additional Languages
