Job Title: Receptionist (Part Time)
Reports To: Senior Manager, Corporate Services
Department: Human Resources and Corporate Services
Position Summary
Providing Reception coverage for the SmartCentres Home Office, on a Part-Time basis.
Responsibilities:
- Answer all incoming telephone calls within two rings and direct callers to the appropriate person/department.
- Keep an accurate list of existing properties and sites to ensure callers speak to the appropriate representative.
- Greet and announce visitors.
- Good working knowledge of visitor sign in software (I Lobby)
- Answer parking queries and refer questions to the Manager, Parking as required.
- Assist the Sr. Manager, Corporate Services with special projects.
- Back up Mailroom as may be required from time to time.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Academic/Professional Requirements:
- College or High School graduate with.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 1-2 years office/reception experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Able to work under pressure and handle a busy reception area. Must have a professional telephone manner and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Professionalism - The Receptionist is the first contact that tenants and vendors encounter when calling or visiting SmartCentres Home Office. It is important to have a professional demeanour.
Hours of Work:
- 9:00 am – 6:00 pm – two days per week.
