Reporting to the Manager, Employee Development, the Recruitment Administrator is responsible for administrative office duties and supports various HR functions. This role is the first point of contact for applicants seeking employment and therefore, should have great customer service skills and a thorough understanding of the recruitment process.

This is a 1-year term position with the possibility for extension.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide general administrative support to the HR team:
- Create and maintain personnel files
- Department filing
- Maintain and update various databases and systems, including HRIS and ERP
- Organize and compile data for reporting purposes
2. Provide support for full-cycle recruitment:
- Create and post both internal and external job competitions
- Shortlist and route candidates
- Conduct prescreens and reference calls
- Schedule interviews and prepare interview packages
- Assist and conduct interviews
- Generate offer letters and other pre-hire documentation
- Provide weekly recruitment reports
3. Support the implementation process of a new HRIS system
4. Perform other duties as required
CORE SKILLS
- Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal; English is mandatory
- Computer Skills: MS Teams, MSWord, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of professionalism and accuracy
- Experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion and diplomacy
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- Post-secondary degree in Human Resources Management
- At least one year experience in recruitment activities and administrative support
This position requires Controlled Goods clearance immediately upon hire, therefore, only Canadian Residents or Permanent Residents will be considered at this time.
