Position: Sales Advisor B2B (Flooring Industry)
Job Description:
MurciAlva Design is looking for a passionate B2B Sales Advisor to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will promote our flooring selections by generating leads and closing sales, making sales calls, continuously updating our CRM database, and meeting sales targets.
To be a successful B2B Sales Advisor, you should be an inspired self-starter and able to drive sales growth. Ultimately, you should be able to build genuine relationships with vendors and close sales in large accounts.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct presentations and attend meetings with architect, design and building retail stores all over Nanaimo and surrounding areas
- Develop territory sales and meet or exceed sales objectives
- Develop sales opportunities by researching, identifying, prospecting and soliciting new accounts
- Servicing existing customers in the territory by building relationships with key customers and industry associations
- Identify client requirements, proactively and professionally recommend, sell and upsell products
- Respond to inbound leads, make regular outbound calls, cold-calls
- Research and report new product ideas/ suggestions and information on competition
- Support in account management. You will act as the primary point of contact for their accounts
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with all customers by actively listening to their needs, getting to know them, visiting their stores, setting the right expectations, asking for feedback and being accountable.
- Meet or exceed $150K monthly sales target
Skills and Requirements:
- Proven record for meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experienced in the flooring industry preferred
- Ability to present information clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
- Must be an expert problem-solver and team collaborator
- Ability to develop strong relationships with customers
- Must be willing to travel up to 50 percent of the time.
- Advanced computer skills including spreadsheet, Microsoft office, CRM, ERP.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction.
- Minimum 2+ year of experience in the flooring industry preferred
- Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
