Job Description
L&M Taylor Soccer is a family run store that has been in business for over 30 years. We strive to be a staple in the soccer and rugby communities, offering just about everything for the fan or the player. We provide everything the player needs, from equipment such as shoes and shin guards, to apparel such as providing a whole team with uniforms.
Responsibilities of the Position
- Fitting customers for soccer boots
- Assisting customers with finding products
- Answering questions about products in the store (difference between shoes, how products fit, etc)
- Keeping the store clean (sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, washing windows)
- Putting out new stock in the store, replenishing low stock
- Handle cash and card transactions on a POS system
Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in retail
- Minimum 1 year experience in customer service
- Interest in soccer or rugby preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, can carry up to 20lbs
- Eager and quick to learn, able to take directions to do certain tasks around the store.
- Ability to multi task and problem solve
- Great verbal and written communication skills
About the Position
- 40 hour work week
- Every other weekend off
- Most weekdays from 11am-8pm, you get 1 full weekday off every other week and 1 half day every week
- Salary of $34,560 (or $18 per hour)
