We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our growing company!

The position we are looking to fill is for a sales development rep. We need someone to help us ensure that we get the right prospects to sell our lineup of 3D scanners and scanning software, along with our Mechanical Engineering Service.
We need someone who is a self-starter, a good listener, willing to work independently, has experience in industrial sales or technical work and has strong interpersonal skills. We need someone who is empathetic and understands the pain points of our customers and wants to solve them. You need to be curious about what we do, and what our customers do. You will need to have a general interest in what we do and the products we sell, and be enthusiastic to let the world know why they should buy from us!
The goal of this position is to have you prospect for potential leads for 3D scanning hardware, services, and our engineering consulting services. We need someone to help sell the goods and services we offer, because we believe that what we are up to is great, and that the world needs more of it!
The primary products that we sell are:
1. Artec 3D Scanners and Software
2. Leica 3D Scanners
3. Geomagic Design Products
4. Scantech 3D scanners and Software
5. Online Repair Engineering Services
Requirements:
We require you to have the following education:
We require you to have the following work experience:
- 3-5 years of previous sales experience
- Experience generating prospects and converting them to leads, and running a CRM
- Minimum 2 years full time sales experience
- Professional experience is preferred.
We require you to have the following skills and traits:
- Excellent with Microsoft Office
- Excellent communicator, consistent and not afraid to give bad news
- Driver's License
- Knows how to listen effectively, and is respectful
- Can take constructive feedback from customers or management and turn this into actionable results
Primary Duties
- Account research - Find the best customers for us to sell too
- Develop these accounts and qualify these leads prior to handing off to account executive
- Build client lists using our sales software and import to our CRM
- Starts conversations with clients through outbound actions such as emails / calls
- Prospects into lists of target accounts to develop new sales opportunities from cold or inactive accounts
- Dedicated to proactive business development
- Creates and qualifies new sales opportunities and passes those onto account executives
- Does not close deals
Employee Responsibilities
- Present a positive and professional image to all visitors, suppliers, inquiries, and other persons.
- Understand how to use the technology and software that we sell to provide demonstrations to customers
- Prospects daily to add new opportunities to the sales pipeline
- Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers
- Correspond with all customers using our CRM and track sales progress on the CRM
- Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts on CRM
- Sell the value that My Engineering’s products and/or services will bring to customers

Salary: $60,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
