Acura Sherway is looking for a Sales Consultant to join the team!.
The Sales Consultant serves as the first point of contact between our clients and Acura Sherway. You will promote and sell new and used vehicles, accessories and service through building and maintaining long-term, one-on-one relationships with clients. Through your interactions with the clients, you will anticipate the clients’ long-term vehicle needs and meet and exceed customer satisfaction and sales targets, while abiding by the dealership, brand, and OMVIC's processes and regulations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish relationships with clients.
Ask clients qualifying questions to determine their needs and to provide vehicle options accordingly.
Meet and exceed vehicle unit targets while maintaining a high CSI score.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and enthusiasm for the vehicles, accessories, and services of Acura Sherway.
Assume full responsibility for the entire sales process, including:
Getting to know the client;
Accommodating the client’s product preference via a presentation and demonstration;
Finding the right vehicle for the client via product supply resources;
Determining the best trade-in value via a fair and equitable process;
Satisfying the client’s purchasing needs via a seamless sales process;
Preparing the client for vehicle ownership by ensuring a smooth and thorough delivery that accommodates all of the client’s expectations;
Establishing a sustained consultative relationship with each client.
Close sales effectively, being profit-minded, and understanding financing and insurance options.
Handle all client questions, complaints or problems, ensuring they are resolved beyond the client’s expectations. If you’re unable to provide a solution, locate the appropriate help immediately.
Follow up with undecided clients and prospects, utilizing various methods of communication, from follow-up phone calls to letters or customized brochures highlighting the features of interest.
Develop new business and leads to increase client base through focused personal marketing efforts that may include, but are not limited to, direct mail, networking affiliations and telemarketing. Follow up on all leads generated by Acura, the website, walk-ins, off-lease reports, prospect reports, the call centre, referrals, and aftersales.
Stay up to date with all Acura brand required and legislative training.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Completion of post-secondary education in an automotive program, business program or a relative field or, minimum 2 years of experience as a sales consultant in an automotive environment.
Class G Ontario driver’s license.
Valid OMVIC license or ability to obtain license.
Experience in a customer service role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong listening and problem analysis skills.
Team player, quick thinker, and able to multitask.
Strong computer skills.
Proven interpersonal skills; ability to form and maintain relationships and engage with people.
Must be available to work on Saturday’s and evenings.
