This is a full-time position earning $60,000/yr.
Job Description
Our Sales Representatives provide excellent service for customers of Bylands Nurseries Ltd. with designated and potential accounts. Specific regions for this position include Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island, Northern BC & Yukon. You will be responsible for maximizing sales opportunities, developing long-term relationships, setting up programs, and attracting new business within this territory.
- Develop strategic sales programs and relationships with designated clients to meet annual sales goals for new and existing business.
- Generate new business with appropriate sales pitches and effective on-boarding of new clients.
- Manage sales calls, attend meetings and maintain correspondence with key customer contacts.
- Report weekly sales activity, providing feedback on sales and product performance, and key challenges.
- Resolve customers’ quality and credit issues in a timely manner.
- Receive and processing sales orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor quality of product shipped to client locations.
Qualifications
Education / Experience:
- University/College education in Business, Sales, Marketing or Horticulture or equivalent sales experience. Plant knowledge is not required.
- A minimum of 2 years of territory sales and marketing experience an asset.
- Valid driver's license required for travel.
