We work with a wide range of customers, all of whom expect the highest quality seafood they can get whether they’re a home cook or a chef of a Michelin-starred restaurant.
We’re looking to add one person to our team to assist us in reaching a broader audience. This person will primarily work in cooperation with our sales team to grow our business and, by doing so, have more people purchasing and consuming sustainable seafood. Some admin and logistics support will also be necessary.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Report to Director of Sales and Logistics Manager
· Show up ready to work every business day, and be available to the team.
· Act as liaison between sales and logistics to ensure orders are filled and shipped as expected
· Be an asset to our customers by making outgoing calls and informing customers of our current fresh and frozen seafood options
· Enter customer orders into our order fulfillment system
· Work with sales team to prepare quotes and presentations
· Help develop new business by preparing potential customer lists and pipelines
· Coordinate with sales team to pursue leads and make introductions
· Schedule meetings and/or presentations for sales team
· Assess and respond quickly and effectively to customer needs or inquiries
· Participate in weekly sales meetings, prepare and distribute minutes
· Possible participation in seafood demos as needed
· Track outgoing samples to ensure timely follow up is done
· Track shipping costs to help reduce cost and improve delivery service
· Prepare margin reports
· Submitting request for Health Certificates with the CFIA – this involves communicating with Sales Rep and suppliers as needed.
· Booking air freight + Delivery, booking trucking.
REQUIRMENTS
· Must be self-motivated and eager to help the sales team grow our business
· A working understanding of Pacific Seafood
· Desire to work in a business that has sustainability as a core corporate value
· Ability to work towards specific goals, as opposed to fulfilling tasks
· Excellent verbal and written English communications skills
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
· PC proficiency for data entry and utilization of Microsoft Office applications
· Previous culinary experience an asset
· Previous experience with QuickBooks an asset
EXPERIENCE
sales: 1 year in B2B sales (preferred)
