Job Description
We are currently hiring a Sales Specialist for Vandutch Exteriors. This position offers a salary-based compensation package, along with the provision of a company vehicle. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, conducting some take-offs and estimates, performing exterior inspections, and utilizing the company vehicle to travel to client sites.
Responsibilities:
Sales and Client Relationship Building:
- Generate leads and actively prospect potential clients through various channels, including referrals, networking, and industry events.
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing and new clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services to maximize revenue.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests.
Take-Offs and Estimates:
- Perform detailed take-offs and material calculations from architectural drawings, blueprints, or on-site measurements.
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive estimates for exterior construction projects, including roofing, siding, and related services.
- Collaborate with the operations team and subcontractors to ensure estimates align with project requirements and budgets.
Exterior Inspections:
- Conduct thorough inspections of existing roofs, exteriors, and related components to assess their condition and identify any issues or potential problems.
- Document findings, provide recommendations for repair and replacements, and deliver comprehensive inspection reports to clients.
- Educate clients on inspection results and proposed solutions, addressing their questions and concerns.
Company Vehicle Usage:
- Utilize the company vehicle to travel to client sites, attend meetings, and conduct on-site inspections as required.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety guidelines while operating the company vehicle.
- Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle, reporting any issues promptly to the appropriate authorities.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with the internal team, including project managers, estimators, and installers, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Communicate project details, client requirements, and timelines effectively to ensure smooth handoffs and exceptional customer experiences.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in the construction industry, with strong client relationship-building skills.
- Technical knowledge and experience in exterior construction, including roofing and siding materials, installation methods, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in performing take-offs and preparing accurate estimates for construction projects.
- Experience conducting exterior inspections and producing detailed reports.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record, with the ability to operate the company vehicle safely.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to clients clearly and concisely.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze project requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools for estimating, project management, and customer relationship management (CRM) is advantageous.

Salary: $50,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
