Requesting Home Help/ Respite Service Providers
We are looking for individuals to assist our clients throughout Dufferin County with Non-medical in-home activities of daily living such as:
- meal preparation
- light housekeeping
- laundry
- shopping
- meal preparation
**Fee for service applicable
Requesting Home Maintenance Service Providers
To assist with shoveling snow, raking leaves, washing windows, grass cutting, and painting Payment is through a negotiated fee
***Service providers are considered self-employed, independent contractors, and are not employees of the County of Dufferin***
We have Volunteer opportunities in the following programs:
- Adult Day
- Meals on Wheels
- Friendly Visiting Transportation Drivers
***Reimbursement for Transportation Drivers is provided***
We are looking for compassionate, caring individuals with a desire to help and listen and who enjoy working with seniors. Previous experience working with seniors and/or adults with disabilities will be considered an asset.
