What you do:
The Marketing Manager, Content & Social Media leads the strategy in ideation, design and production of marketing material that is consistent with brand identity and oversees marketing content across multiple platforms and formats for both owned and paid channels. This role is responsible for working collaboratively with the marketing team to develop program material to satisfy content deliverables and provide strategic leadership for social media.
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Lead the strategy in ideation, design and production of marketing assets, ensuring material is on brand and polished for owned and paid channels.
- Manage content production requests from the marketing team and other internal teams, allocating projects based on capacity and expertise.
- Lead the AMM, Content providing mentorship and input, leading to improvement in soft and hard skills and future career development.
- Manage the social media strategy and budget, including new platform opportunities, channel growth across all platforms and budget to ensure engagement is maximized.
- Develop standards, systems and best practices for briefing process, content creation, distribution and storage.
- Oversee and execute content shoots for national campaigns, menu and Local Restaurant Marketing (LRM).
Who you are:
- You have 2-5 years of progressive experience in content management, brand marketing, and managing projects
- You have a post-secondary degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or related discipline
- You have experience with graphic design applications (Adobe Creative Suite), digital asset management system, social media management tools, and project management software
- You have strong leadership and communication skills (writing, grammar, and punctuation), and design aptitude
- You are a team player, flexible, have strong time management skills, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously
