The social media manager reports to the Director, Public Relations and Marketing Communications, and works closely with members of the Marketing, Sales and Product teams to develop an effective social media strategy and execute on it. Regular activities include the development of a social media calendar, consistent social listening, creating content for social posts and engaging with audiences on various platforms.The role is ideal for a self-starter with experience in social media marketing in a B2B setting. It will require strong collaboration skills, an ability to juggle multiple projects at once and adhere to often tight deadlines. Strong writing skills will be critical as will proficiency in design using common applications.

- A strong understanding of social trends/climate, user behaviours and corporate-social etiquette.
- Proven experience launching and managing social media campaigns and profiles.
- An ability to turn complex concepts and technical subject matter into engaging and insightful social posts.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- An understanding of global trade and/or import and export processes is helpful but not required.
