SOCIAL COMMUNITY MANAGER

As a Social Media Community Manager, you will be responsible for managing our social media accounts, implementing best practices, creating, and curating engaging content with our clinics, and interacting with and coordinating our influencer and VIP patients’ program. We have a variety of brands in our portfolio across Canada and the United States, including LASIK MD, TLC Laser Eye Centres, and many more!

Your tasks at a glance
- You identify and engage with influencers and brand advocates to build a strong online community.
- You analyze social media metrics to measure the success of content and adjust strategies accordingly.
- You scroll through relevant social media accounts and stay up to date with industry trends and social media platforms to ensure the company's social media presence remains relevant and effective.
- You maintain our social channels with best practices (linktree, descriptions, optimized for SEO as examples)
- You create engaging content with surgeons and clinical staff.
- You coordinate and manage our influencer and VIP patient program.
- You suggest new channels to test based on our target market as well as develop related strategy and content.
- You act as an ambassador of Vision Group and its brands, ensuring consistent brand expression throughout all consumer touch points, both external and internal.
- You manage communication between all parties involved in the creation of social media assets.
- You visit our clinics to create educational content.
A clear view of your assets
- You have excellent organizational and time management skills.
- You can work independently and in a team environment.
- You are a creative thinker with a passion for community building and engagement.
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- You hold 3+ years of experience in social media management.
- You have advanced knowledge of TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
- You have experience with social media platforms and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Review Trackers)
- You have knowledge of social media best practices, analytics, and advertising.
- You are skilled in content creation.
- You are proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- You have experience with Asana, and you experience in agency is considered an asset.
- You have excellent communication skills in English et vous parlez également français.
