Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Software Engineer, your primary role will be to design and develop software architecture and detailed designs for software control systems in the automotive industry. This includes working on Inverters, Transmission, and Vehicle control units, reviewing implementation and validation, and ensuring traceability between requirements, design, and testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating software architecture, developing control documentation and software requirements, and reviewing software verification and validation procedures.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software architecture, including base and application, for electrification systems using modeling tools.
- Create control documentation and software requirements based on the software architecture.
- Develop and maintain detailed designs for platform software modules.
- Review software verification and validation procedures to ensure adherence to the software architecture.
- Support the design and reviews of application programs based on the platform software architecture.
- Develop automotive software solutions using Agile development practices.
- Collaborate and effectively communicate within cross-functional teams and your development team.
- Work on special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Software Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in vehicle electrification or a related automotive domain.
- Demonstrated experience with UML modeling tools (Enterprise Architect preferred).
- Experience in embedded software development at various levels of software architecture.
- Experience with Functional Safety and ASPICE is a must.
- Experience in multicore software development or system design in the automotive industry is preferred.
- AGILE/SAFe development experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of BSW, low-level drivers, RTOS, interrupt handlers, etc.

- Ability to effectively multitask on projects and assignments.
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and goals.
- Strong team player with flexibility and creativity in problem-solving.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English.
Additional Information
Work on-site is preferred, but this position is remote-friendly.
