PLC Programmer
Accel Systems Inc. supports clientele in manufacturing, food and beverage, process control and automation. We are looking for an independant confident programmer to work with us and our clients.
Job Description:
The PLC Programmer will be responsible for programming, testing, integrating and running equipment in accordance with an established PLC program. The PLC programmer will be responsible for concept, design, and programming the controller, and any other equipment involved in the production of products. The PLC programmer will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues and communicating with the production team to resolve them. The PLC programmer will work closely with the engineering department to determine what equipment needs to be programmed, when it is necessary, and how the program should be programmed. The PLC programmer will also be responsible for documenting all programming and testing activities and reporting of any issues that need resolution. This applciant will be tasked with new projects involving concept, design, review, quoting, procuring, and delivery, as well as service troubleshooting and minimizing downtime for our clients.
Job Requirements:
·Must have a minimum of 9 years’ experience with programming PLCs, HMIs, servos, etc., factory setting and similar environments.
·Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
·Must have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
·Must have experience using Microsoft Office Suite or similar computer applications.
·Must have experience programming Allen Bradley, Siemens, Horner (Omron, ge fanuc and others a bonus) .
·Must have knowledge of industrial automation software such as RSlogix, Factory talk, Studio or similar programs.
·Must be familiar with manufacturing software such as AutoCAD
·Must be familiar with mechanical engineering concepts such as pneumatics, hydraulics, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $120,000.00 per year

Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
Experience:
- PLC Programming: 9 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
