ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY
As a member of the Marine HMI Development group, the incumbents will be responsible to execute the following tasks.
- Help and support the R&D teams in the development of new products and maintenance of existing one;
- Contribute to the integration, testing and commissioning of the new product onboard ships;
- Participate in the system acceptance activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, or computer engineering or computer science;
- Experience in design, programming and testing software primarily in C++ language for at least 5 years (design, programming and tests);
- Experience with C# is an asset;
- Graphical User Interface experience required (MFC knowledge is an asset;
- Knowledge of the principles applicable to Configuration Management tools is an asset;
- Bilingual French and English with good English written and spoken skills;
- Reliability security clearance required;
- NATO Security clearance enabling work onboard a military ship (or eligible to request it).
