Role: Senior Programmer/Software Developer – IBM Operational Decision Management (ODM)
Client: Federal Government of Canada Client
Contract duration: 1 year, possibility of extension

Responsibilities could include but are not limited to:
· Identify root cause of problems and document;
· Provide data model strategies and advice;
· Provide support guidance and recommendations to staff;
· Create, fix and test rules;
· Perform and/or support integration design, development, testing and migration;
· Provide transfer and share knowledge
Skills/Experience Required:
· MUST HOLD A valid security clearance (please indicate on resume)
· A minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a programmer/software developer developing IBM Operational Decision Management (ODM) solutions;
· A minimum of 10 years’ experience in performing the following:
o Design details programs, flow charts, and diagrams indicating mathematical computation and sequence of machine operations necessary to copy and process data
o Translate detailed flow charts into coded machine instructions and confer with technical personnel in planning programs
o Verify accuracy and completeness of programs by preparing sample data, and testing them by means of system acceptance test runs made by operating personnel
o Correct program error by revising instructions or altering the sequence of operations
o Perform unit testing, and assemble specifications, flow charts, diagrams, layouts, programming and operating instructions to document applications for later modification or reference.
