UKG is looking for motivated Senior Full Stack Software Developer. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects and gain different domain knowledge and experience. You will play a key role in the development of new features and moving forward critical value driven company initiatives with a keen eye for detail. You will have the opportunity to work on both the front end and back-end portions of every project our team will take on.
Responsibilities will include:
- Lead the development of new features
- Be able to implement higher level to more complex tasks
- Mentor other software developers and interns on the team
- Provide continuous feedback on areas of improvements regarding team process, technical approach and architecture
- Follow development and deployment process to deliver consistent value to our internal and external customers
- Be able to take requirements and turn them into smaller tasks/tickets by collaborating with product partners
- Manage ambiguity and raise issues as soon as observed and provide suggestions on how to remove impediments
Qualifications
Basic:
- 2+ year's of experience developing and deploying code to production
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn and drive new technologies and concepts
- Be able to work in a cross-functional team – you will be collaborating with product and UX partners to define feature scope and deliverables.
- Must be able to manage expectations and discern high priority items with input from product
- Should be able to balance multiple initiatives effectively
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Experience building event-driven applications
- Knowledge about authentication and authorization principles (SAML, SSO, OAUTH)
- Understanding of front-end architecture and frameworks
- Be proficient in Angular and Java
- Knowledgeable about software testing principles and ability to write all levels of automated tests for both front end and back end
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker and public cloud deployment
- Exposure with TeamCity and Concourse is a bonus
- CQRS and Event Sourcing architectural patterns
