About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Developer (Power Platform) to join our Application Services team. The Senior Developer for Power Platform is responsible to solution, design, and build solutions based on business requirements.
As a Senior Developer (Power Platform), you will ensure that systems are built in a way where functional requirements are met while also ensuring that service qualities (this includes performance, scalability, extensibility, maintainability, security, and interoperability) for the current state and for the future state are achievable.
This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your 3+ years of Business Systems Analyst/Developer experience with Microsoft Platforms and with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Power Apps, Dataverse (CDS), Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, API Management, Azure Functions) to help build the OCS best practices for the low-code and no-code practices, including Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
About Your Day
- Design and implement scalable technology for business initiatives.
- Execute assigned tasks within a structured project environment.
- Implement, configure and develop components of core enterprise applications.
- Provide technology solutions to business requirements
- Work with architects and business teams to analyze and propose viable solutions based on requirements and needs.
- Assist with designing and implementing best practices for the low code / no code platform.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation and create release notes for new features.
- Be a subject matter expert (SME) in multiple modules and applications
- Provide guidance to the business and other Information Technology units
- Stay up to date on new and emerging technologies
About You
- Completed Post-Secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology or related areas OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Microsoft D365 certification is preferred
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Developer on Microsoft platforms
- 3+ years of experience on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Power Apps, Dataverse (CDS), Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, API Management, Azure Functions)
- Experience working with teams operating in Waterfall (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience developing and optimizing Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports
- Experience designing solutions for Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)
- Working Knowledge of JavaScript, C#, HTML, and CSS
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
