Metso is seeking a skilled and proactive Talent Sourcing Specialist to join our dynamic Human Resources team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in identifying and engaging top talent to support our company's growth and strategic objectives. As a Talent Sourcing Specialist, you will utilize your expertise in candidate sourcing, networking, and relationship-building to attract highly qualified candidates for a wide range of positions across different business areas, regions and functions on a global level. This role is flexible and can be remote or hybrid based on where the successful candidate is located. Anyone in Canada and the US is encouraged to apply.
What you will be doing:
Collaborate with hiring managers, Talent Acquisition Partners and HR to understand talent needs, position requirements, and desired candidate profiles.
Utilize various sourcing techniques, including but not limited to online sourcing, social media, professional networks, referrals, and direct sourcing, to identify and attract qualified candidates globally.
Conduct thorough screening of potential candidates through resume review, phone screenings, and initial assessments to assess their skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.
Engage passive candidates and build relationships to create a global talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment tools to ensure accurate and up-to-date candidate data.
Provide regular updates and reports on sourcing activities, including metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and innovative sourcing techniques to continuously improve the talent acquisition process.
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Talent Sourcer or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and global organization, and within the mining industry.
Strong understanding of candidate sourcing techniques and best practices, including online sourcing, Boolean search, social media, and professional networking platforms.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage candidates effectively and build relationships.
Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet targets and deliver high-quality talent within specified timelines.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
