As the Digital Content Strategist, you will:
- Lead the integrated content marketing strategy, production and measurement for the Ontario Heritage Trust's social media, digital and other channels.
- Use your stellar storytelling skills to write, co-create, host, produce, optimize, edit and or maintain content (text, visuals, video) that inspires wonder and sparks curiosity and engagement.
- Work collaboratively in a multifunctional team, as well as with external agency partners, to develop assets with best practices to be executed in the content plan.
- Continuously evolve and identify opportunities for testing and measurement, and apply learning to adjust the plan as needed.
- Leverage data insights to develop and optimize strategic content and engagement campaigns.
- Ensure the content strategy furthers marketing programs and priorities.
You can:
- Develop and analyze key performance indicators of digital content and modify strategies based on identified patterns and trends to achieve business goals.
- Leverage data insights to develop and optimize strategic content and engagement campaigns.

- Leverage data and analytics to develop channel-specific strategies and tactics that reach key audiences segments.
- Assess emerging trends, tools and techniques in digital and social media to promote programs, events, and initiatives.

You can:
- Ensure the content strategy further positions the Ontario Heritage Trust's brand identity, mission and purpose.
- Create, produce, edit and optimize content that engages audiences across multiple social media platforms simultaneously and builds/maintains brand affinity.
- Strategically chart a course for the content strategy in coordination with other areas in the organization and drive content initiatives across multiple teams.
- Develop and manage the editorial calendar, ensuring alignment across marketing and communications channels and plans.
- Build, manage and engage social media communities through effective community management.
You can:
- Provide consultative and advisory services related to the development and implementation of social and digital media strategies and plans by using your written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Use your presentation skills to support and articulate proposed ideas/plans to communications teams and management.
- Provide strategic guidance on the design of graphics and other creative options to support social and digital media strategies and present design concepts and explain production requirements to external suppliers.
- Meet with clients and stakeholders to fully understand their business needs and develop positive working relationships.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to cross-functional planning, leveraging departmental strengths to create impactful plans for the brand.
- Collaborate with colleagues responsible for programs, exhibitions, events and others to develop customer-focused stories that amplify our reach.

- Network effectively at all levels and influence without direct management oversight.
- Resolve project issues, and ensure timely and quality outcomes.
