The Anko Global team is a newly created team that manages the distribution of Anko product outside Australia and New Zealand and is directly supported by design, merchandise, sourcing and supply chain teams in Australia, India, and China. You will be joining a team of passionate collaborators with an entrepreneurial mindset that are determined to drive rapid growth for the Anko Global business across Canada. This team are passionate about Anko products and partner strongly with the retailers they wholesale to.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide analytical and financial support for the Anko Global wholesale business in Canada.
- Analyse reports on Anko's financial performance with the retail partner (HBC/Zellers) and play an active part in the strategic business planning of Anko within Canada.
- Undertake analysis to ensure proper range building for the retail partner in Canada.
To be successful in this role you'll have:- A University or College Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
- Strong financial acumen, attention to detail, an analytical mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and the retail partner.
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role for at least 3-5 years.
- Familiarity with the Canadian retail landscape.
- Advanced technical expertise in Excel, Power BI, and other planning tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and negotiate when required.
- Able to self-manage competing priorities and deliver on time at a high standard.
- Display a growth mindset, have an entrepreneurial spirit, be goal oriented and motivated to build a business.
