Responsibilities:
The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes. Successful applicants are required to complete a Criminal Records Review Check.
Typical Duties
This position reports to the Director of Care and/or designate.
Responsible for SCHEDULING, SCREENING, MONITORING, CLEANING / DISINFECTING and other duties assigned.
Qualifications
The successful job applicant will have High School education or equivalent. An alternative level of education and experience may be acceptable.
Skills and Abilities
· Physically and mentally able to carry out the assigned duties.
· Understands and agrees to our Visitation Health & Safety Plan.
· Ability to use iPad, Google calendar, on-line visitation apps/programs, etc.
· Respects and maintains the spirit, dignity and individuality of the residents and their visitors.
· Ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relations by displaying tact, courtesy and patience with residents, visitors, co-workers, superiors, and volunteers in the workplace.
· Ability to organize and prioritize the daily workload in an effective and efficient manner and to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
