Position
Your goal is to provide the best possible customer experience from the time they enter the restaurant to the time they leave, accomplished through pleasant communication, on-time food preparation, great presentation, and consistent quality.
Responsibilities/requirements include (but are not limited to)
- Taking food orders from guests
- Maintaining excellent product knowledge to make menu suggestions and up-sells
- Utilizing TouchBistro POS system to input orders and process payments
- Daily cash management and till balancing
- Receiving shipments from suppliers, and organizing and maintaining kitchen storage systems - Following recipes, portioning and preparing all ingredients, and ensuring safe food service
- Keeping adequate par levels to ensure necessary stock for service
- Performing regular kitchen up-keep and upholding exceptional levels of cleanliness
- Must possess great communication skills
- Only applicants with a valid Food handler certification and liquor service training (e.g.: Smart Serve) will be considered.
Experience:
- Cooking:1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food safe , Serve It Right
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30-40 per week
Salary: $13.00-$15.00 per hour
