As Project Manager, you will lead and manage projects through their lifecycle from initiation to close. You’ll be primarily managing multiple complex customer projects using a mixture of solutions. Alongside the other Project Managers, you will be responsible for ensuring that the portfolio of projects is prioritized, resourced and scheduled out to meet internal utilization, backlog and resourcing targets and external customer timeline and budget expectations. You will manage the relationship with the client during these projects ensuring that there is strong and frequent communication between the customer and the project team. You will also ensure that the agreed deployment schedule is met and that internal and external acceptance and handover is successful.Culture is an integral part of working at VC3. Primary duties include evaluating project proposals, creating and maintaining a project charter that communicates tasks, scope, milestone dates, status, risks, resource allocation, and managing budget utilization.

Here’s what you will be responsible for:

• Project lifecycle (planning through closure)
• Stakeholder communication
• External (end-user) documentation
• Service Delivery handoffs
• Budget and timeline adherence
• Risk management – foreseeing and mitigating
• Customer satisfaction
• Change orders management
• Schedule and coordinate resources across departments.
• Act as a contact between customers, vendors and VC3 resources
• Track and confirm all hardware and software delivery to customer
• Plan and monitor implementation activities
• Prepare weekly status reports for both management and customers
• Coordinate handoff of projects at closure

Here’s the background we think will make you successful:

• Bachelor’s degree, computer or business-related, and a minimum of 3 years of project management experience
• Excellent facilitation skills, including the ability to function in a cross-functional team
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to balance multiple projects, responsibilities and conflicting priorities
• Experience working on project teams
• Experience leading a team
• Knowledge of project management methodologies
• IT experience a plus, but not required
• CAPM or PMP preferred
