THE OPPORTUNITY
We are actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our dynamic Sales team.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO,
- Identifying and prospecting potential clients in the energy sector.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new customers, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Gaining a thorough knowledge of all of Bidell’s offerings.
- Promoting all facets of Bidell’s business including Fabrication, Rentals, Retrofit and Parts & Service.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to educate customers about the benefits and features of our comprehensive offerings.
- Assisting in the development of business strategies to help grow overall sales and market share.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their specific requirements and develop customized solutions that meet their needs.
- Prepare and deliver on sales proposals and quotations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer expectations.
- Negotiate sales agreements, ensuring customer satisfaction and equitable offerings.
- Produce technical support and guidance to customers throughout the sales process, addressing any concerns.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including applications, engineering, manufacturing, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate sales records, including customer interactions, sales activities, and progress towards sales targets, using company’s CRM.
- Project Management shadowing.
EDUCATION AND EXPERENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience within gas compression industry.
- Knowledge of compression systems, including reciprocating, screw, power generation and related equipment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Self-motivated and result oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applications software skills (Ariel, GE Gemini, Sullair, Kobleco, etc.)
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
