Job Description

Responsible for wheelchair assembly and inventory maintenance including shipping, receiving and cycle counts for warehouse.

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible for assembly of all products/models of wheelchairs using hand and/or power tools in accordance with specifications, work instructions and Quality Systems.

· Responsible for picking customer orders as per JDE generated purchase orders and entering appropriate detail into JDE.

· Responsible for receiving shipments including accuracy and quality of contents.

· Responsible for packaging and shipping of product and maintaining knowledge of all shipping systems used by Sunrise.

· Responsible for maintaining inventory of stocked products such as the Breezy 600 or other products.

· Responsible for daily inventory cycle counts and inventory audits when required or scheduled.

· Responsible for preparing and shipping all demo equipment.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

· Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent required, advanced education levels acceptable and preferred.

· Three to 4 years’ experience in a warehouse environment preferred.

· Knowledge of manufacturing and distribution electronic interfaces preferred

· Ability to read and comprehend simple and complex instructions, work orders, manuals, bill of ladings, and other forms of both written and verbal communication.

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and solve problems in a practical manner.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
