Accounting Assistant
Duties:
1 Reviewing sales documents and making invoices.
2 Booking and filing sales invoices.
3 Setting up new accounts for each new client.
4 Sending out Account Receivable statements to each client monthly.
5 Suppliers invoices PO matching, booking, and filing.
6 Visa cards statements and receipts reviewing and summarizing.
7 Recording and Posting Credit Card transactions.
8 Employees’ timecard preparation, counting and recording overtime hours.
9 Other duties as assigned.
Experience & Skills:
Detail-oriented with strong numerical accuracy and data entry skills.
Knowledge of Canadian accounting principles and practices
Knowledge of Quickbooks is a must.
Proficiency in using spreadsheet software (primarily Excel), Word.
Well organized and high level of integrity.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent both in English and Mandarin
Hours Per Week: Approximately 10 to 12 hours per week (Three 4-hour days, or flexible hours)
LOCATION : Burnaby
START DATE : As soon as possible
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-12 per week
Salary: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
