Job Description:
The Oil and Gas Production Administrator will be a crucial player in our Clients production team, overseeing and coordinating operations, administration, and logistics. The successful candidate will have a proven background in the oil and gas industry and strong knowledge of production processes, supply chain logistics, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all administrative tasks related to oil and gas production including scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
- Coordinate production planning and logistics to ensure that production targets are met efficiently and on time.
- Maintain detailed production records and prepare production reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with the production team to develop, implement, and maintain safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist in the forecasting of production levels and budgeting processes.
- Work closely with the human resources department to coordinate staffing and training needs for production personnel.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, such as suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on production administration.
- Excellent understanding of oil and gas industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in production planning and logistics.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software.
Working Conditions:
This position may require occasional travel and availability outside of traditional business hours to respond to operational needs.
