Job Description
Responsibilities for this role:
- Greeting clients and visitors
- Directing initial client inquiries
- Responsible for keeping common areas tidy and in order (board room, reception area, supply room)
- Monitoring office supplies for order
- Distribution of incoming/outgoing mail and couriers
- Printing and assembling client packages (paper and PDF)
- Maintain electronic client files
- Work on improving electronic filing system
- Scanning and filing of documents
- Electronic filing of various types of returns
- Interacting with Canada Revenue Agency; checking clients CRA accounts, uploading documents, obtaining authorization
- Accounting duties could include:
o Bookkeeping
o Payroll
o GST
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience in an administrative position
- Experience with Sage, CaseWare and other accounting software's would be an asset
Requirement:
- Must have previous experience working in an office setting
- Highly skilled in all Microsoft applications
- Very organized
Other comments:
This position is part time. Schedule would be two days each week (same days each week). There is the potential to work more days if the fit is right.

All staff is fully vaccinated. Clients are required to mask when visiting the office. Surfaces and work stations are sanitized frequently. Hand sanitizer and lysol wipes are readily available.
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
- administrative assistant: 5 years (required)
