The Opportunity
Are you someone that models Christ in word and deed and passionate about helping people discover how to move forward in their lives? Are you client-centered and able to advocate for guests? Do you possess a unique ability to connect positively with people, inspiring them to do and be their best? Well that’s precisely what the Case Manager does! You will use your strong interpersonal skills to serve our guests by developing case plans, helping them set goals, and providing coaching and crisis management. You will provide support, care, direct consultation and spiritual guidance to guests that visit the UGM Shelter, and make referrals to community resources. If you have a strong relationship with Jesus Christ, related post-secondary education, 2-3 years of related work experience, and a class 5 driver’s license, this could be a great fit!
You will frequently deal with clients in crisis situations, brought about by diverse problems. There will be other staff nearby to assist as required.
This is a permanent, full-time position. The weekly schedule for this position is: 9:00am to 5:00pm on Monday-Tuesday, 1:30pm to 9:30pm on Wednesday-Thursday and 9:00am to 5:00pm on Friday. For a copy of the full job description, click here
