Overview:
We are currently looking for a dedicated pharmacist to be the licensee/manager of our pharmacy in downtown Edmonton.
- Full-Time
- Starting July 1, 2023
- ***Offering profit sharing***
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Take on the responsibility of being the licensee/manager of this pharmacy
- Perform patient focused clinical services as deemed eligible and appropriate for the patients and document accordingly
- Administer injections/immunizations
- Accurately and timely dispense all prescriptions - including verifying and checking prescriptions
- Provide professional advice and applicable dialogue with patients on prescription and OTC products
- Supervising and directing pharmacy assistants (present on some days of the week)
- Counsel of patients in regards to new and additional medications
- Other tasks necessary to the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy
Requirements/Education:
- Licensed and in good standing as a pharmacist with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a pharmacist in Alberta
- Injection Certification and valid CPR certification
- Additional Prescribing Authority (preferred)
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Very strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills..
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
