Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and tooling
- Monitor machine operation to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using precision measuring instruments such as coordinate measuring machines (CMM), bore gauges, and calipers
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
- Assemble components using hand tools and power tools as required
- Programming on MasterCam
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a CNC Machinist
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Familiarity with various types of cutting tools, fixtures, and tooling used in CNC machining
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of precision and accuracy
- must have a knowledge of MasterCam
This position requires a high level of technical skill and precision. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
