The Opportunity
A new opportunity to join ILAC’s Marketing department as a Copywriter has become available. The copywriter will provide content and editing expertise for marketing projects. The copywriter will also assist in crafting enticing, search engine-friendly language for digital marketing campaigns.
Job Duties:
- Create invigorating content based on creative briefs
- Collaborate with marketing teams and management to craft copy that best serves getting engagement from new audiences
- Work on multiple projects at once, and consistently meet draft deadlines
- Communicate frequently with internal collaborators to stay on top of changing details in higher education partnerships
- Work with web team to fine tune search engine optimization so that digital ads can increase engagement and lead generation
- Other duties as requested
We’re looking for a full-time copywriter with:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a copywriter or equivalent experience, with a referenceable portfolio of work that displays the level of copy that the candidate can create.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with short turnaround times.
- Experience working in the field of higher education, to be end of crafting compelling content for prospective students in college and university environments.
- Background in optimizing digital ads with the intent of increasing leads and taking into account search engine traffic.
- Drive to develop fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives engagement.
- Diligence to maintain a current knowledge of internal communications.
- Initiative to research industry trends to stay on top of emerging language and needs
- Excellent problem-solving & time-management skills.
- Continuously identify opportunities to create additional value, be proactive with ideas and creative solutions and share with the rest of the marketing team.
