CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE | FOOD IMPORTATION & DISTRIBUTION
FULL TIME POSITION – Finica Food Specialties Ltd., Mississauga Ontario CANADA
POSITION SUMMARY
FINICA FOOD SPECIALTIES LTD (www.finica.com) is looking for a dynamic and sales driven Customer Service Representative who has a passion for fine foods and experience working in the food industry. A Customer Service Representative that will provide service and support to customers, National Account Sales Executives & Operations Team. Responsibilities include processing customer orders, resolving customer service obstacles and challenges, and various other administrative functions. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales & Customer Service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Enter customer orders according to established policies & procedures (various channels – Corporate Chain, Distributors (Retail & Food Service) and Independent Retailers
- Effectively process all incoming calls, emails, EDI Orders in a professional friendly and timely manner
- Validate customer specific pricing upon confirmation of orders
- Communicate with internal departments regarding pricing and customer queries and requests
- Proactive communication with customers to answer any inquiries & resolve any issues
- Partner with National Account Sales Executives & Management to exceed customer’s service expectation
- Provide timely feedback to & work cohesively with various departments (Sales, Operations, Inventory Management, Accounting, Marketing & Procurement) regarding any customer service concerns
- Perform various additional administrative functions as needed or assigned
- Other duties assigned as needed
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Secondary School or 3 years customer service work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access & Teams. Willing to learn other
- IT SYSTEMS: CITRIX, VISUALIZATION
- Willingness to address difficult situations and provide potential solutions
- Urgency in responding to internal & external customers and vendors – provide information, review inventory, lot numbers, best before dates and allocation of product inventory
- Exceptional organizational & interpersonal skills
- Good Math skills, Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to function independently and multitask, adapt & work with other departments
- Positive work attitude, value of high level of customer service and possess the ability to solved problems independently
- Prior experience in the food distribution industry is a requirement
- Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (1/2 hour lunch)
