Summary
Winnipeg Kinsmen is a non-profit organization that provides resources and support to Manitobans and their communities to support their greatest need. We provide funding to non-profits and charitable organizations through fundraisers like our Kinsmen Jackpot Bingo and Kin Kar Raffle.
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for serving customers in person and via the telephone. The CSR is accountable for dealing with customer inquiries, complaints, and processing transactions. CSR follows all procedures and policies when providing customer service. CSR participates in all assigned training, setting and meeting personal goals. CSR understands his/her role as brand ambassador and provides positive brand experiences to all customers.

Job Duties
- Provide the highest customer service to meet and exceed customer satisfaction.
- Consistently and regularly answer help-desk tickets for retail customers and questions from wholesale vendors.
- Make sure all customer complaints are addressed and handled professionally, leaving the customer with a positive resolution.
- Research and resolve customer problems, acting as the customer liaison between other departments when necessary.
- Process mail-in orders for retails customers and wholesale vendor orders monthly.
- Process refunds or issue coupon codes to retail customers as required.
- Process new wholesale vendor applications, including verifying references, setting up new website profiles, setting credit limits, and providing initial training to new customers on using order system.
- Complete wholesale vendor account closings.
- Review and contribute to customer service training materials.
- Support accounting functions including but not limited to issuing wholesale vendor invoices, managing returns, sending out payment reminders and processing bank deposits when necessary.
- Support account receivable functions by contacting clients and collecting payment.
- Perform reception duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- A certificate or diploma in a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years customer service experience.
- QuickBooks experience an asset.
- Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
- Exceptional conflict resolution skills.
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
- Computer literate, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, e-mail and web management.
- Professional appearance and manners.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
Working Conditions
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Lifting or moving up to 10lbs may be required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $16.00-$16.50 per hour
