Prepr, is a non-profit social enterprise established in 2011, originally set out to explore the cross-sections of innovation and skills economy.
Today, Prepr creates virtual labs that enable organizations to deliver collaborative learning experiences combining project-based learning, challenge-based learning, and micro-credential achievements in order to help students, employees, job seekers and startups upskill and re-skill, on their journey to becoming lifelong learners and problem solvers.
Flexible Upskilling Network (F.U.N) program is a blended learning program, where participants receive opportunities to combine valuable work experience with accelerated skills training. The objective of the F.U.N program is to support youth who face employment barriers by helping them develop soft and hard skills that employers are increasingly saying are hard for them to find. Prepr will be using its signature PIE Method to train the participants in Project Leadership, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and to expose them to real world business challenges. Prepr will also support participants in developing technology and digital skills that can help them secure gainful employment.
What you'll work on
- Leverage tools like Linkedin, Zoom, Slack, SalesForce etc. to reach potential employers
- Create partnerships with employers to drive employment placements for youth
- Effectively coach job seekers and employers
- Plan and implement employer outreach strategies to ensure new employers and maintain existing employer relationships
- Problem solve any relevant issues with clients and partners/employers
- Analyze current and past client, employers and partner relationships to see what can be improved and how to maximize relationships
- Manage reports and track data
What we're looking for
- Proven track record of achieving/exceeding targets
- A minimum of 3-5 years of employment counselling/business development experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain the flow of business information
- Well-organized and self-starter with ability to work in an agile environment
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- A collaborative individual who can thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
