Involved in preparing/processing shipment transactions processed in SAP, Audit all related carrier invoiced charges, with a close focus on invoices that have been rejected due to a discrepancy. Work closely with the Transport Administrative, Trux Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator teams.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews all carrier invoices to ensure they adhere negotiated freight rates
- Batch, enter, verify and reconcile all freight invoices into SAP.
- Monitor all Tariff charges, on US shipments from Canada or overseas.
- Produce a monthly spreadsheet analysis regarding tariff and freight costs.
- Work with Business Analyst and VP Operations to reduce cost and render the Freight and tariff processes more efficient
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- CEGEP or Bachelor level degree
- 3 years of work experience in Transportation
CORE COMPETENCIES:
- Proven communication skills both verbal and written in French and English
- High degree of accuracy
- Knowledge of SAP B1 is an asset
- Knowledge of carrier and customer rate tariffs and their application.
- Positive attitude, capable of working under pressure required.
- Thorough knowledge with proven experience using MS Word and Excel.
- Service oriented with strong customer interaction skills.
- Good analytical skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Data entry: 4 years (preferred)
- SAP: 3 years (preferred)
- Microsoft Excel: 3 years (preferred)
