A career as a Front-End Developer in in the Financial Market Operations – Business Process Evolution team at National Bank means acting as a transformation agent by participating in the implementation of functional solutions to contribute to the delivery of efficiency in our sector. - Plans, coordinates and monitors the delivery phases of programs, projects and processes that have a significant impact on the Bank's efficiency and profitability.
- Provide second- and third-level support to our partners as part of their operational activity
- Develop innovative, creative, robust and efficient solutions to process and enrich valuation treatments related to sometimes complex products and activities within the financial markets
- Be responsible for quality assurance and smooth implementation of solutions developed under his/her responsibility
- Interact with different areas of the Bank and managers to interpret information and provide professional support as an analyst.
- Identify complex operational problems through information analysis and see to their resolution by making recommendations within general parameters
- Be on the lookout for what's new in your industry
- Bring Front End-related improvement ideas to solution delivery processes.
Your Team:
Within the Financial Market Operations sector, you are part of a team of 12 colleagues and you report tothe Director. You actively participate in the realization of our Financial Market Operations vision using the latest tools on the market. Our proximity team stands out for its desire to improve the customer experience, and access to develop on cutting-edge technologies in addition to rubbing shoulders with colleagues from other sectors of the Bank.Our training programs use on-the-job learning to help you master your role. You can access personalized training content on such topics as banking solutions and the advisory approach to support your ongoing learning. You’ll also have access to colleagues with a wide range of expertise, experience and backgrounds to enrich all aspects of your development
- Bachelor's degree, DEC or AEC or related to the sector of activity and 3 years minimum of relevant experience
- Knowledge of design patterns
- Demonstrated experience with Angular, Typescript, Node.js, JavaScript, UI/UX design, HTML, CSS , essential.
- Demonstrated experience in the automation of integration tests (Selenium, Sonarqube, Jasmine etc.), essential.
- Demonstrated experience in programming with Java or Back-end object language etc., an asset
- Proven experience in Maria DB, Postgres SQL databases, an asset
- Demonstrated experience with test-oriented design and development (TDD), continuous integration (CI/CD), and automated software deployment
- Demonstrated experience with AWS cloud services an asset
- Knowledge of Financial Markets, an asset
- Ability to rigorously structure, monitor and deliver multiple concurrent initiatives
- Bilingualism (spoken/written) French and English: Ability to communicate in English (to deal with English-speaking colleagues)
